HR Manager – Adult Social Care

In January 2021, CCS were approached by a Adult Social Care (Learning Disabilities focussed) specialist provider to source a standalone HR Manager for the business, on an exclusive basis.

This was a critical hire for the organisation, as the successful candidate would be responsible for establishing from scratch, a new HR function and all HR processes. As such, candidates sought needed to have multi-site healthcare experience within either a standalone or autonomous HR role at HR Manager level or higher, as well as strong understanding of suitable HR systems within a health or social care setting.

A shortlist of 8 candidates was introduced to the client, offering a variety of profiles matching the criteria, and following a thorough interview to the shortlist, the successful candidate was invited back for a final discussion with the Board whereby a unanimous decision was agreed, the candidate offered, and accepted at first time.
